Balancing Your Health

About Christine:

Christine is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic. She is Level I Reiki trained and is a Therapeutic Touch practitioner and Craniosacral Therapist.  Her studies continue in Craniosacral, Neuromuscular, and Structural Integration Therapy.

Christine’s interest in the healing arts was borne out of her life experiences, having first hand experience with serious injuries and overcoming them.  She leads an active lifestyle with interests in horseback riding, running, cycling, swimming, kick boxing, yoga and writing.

Using an integration of Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release techniques, and Craniosacral Therapy, Christine’s unique set of skills and experience in the management of chronic diseases and acute injuries, and the effects of long-term stress on the body lend themselves well to helping people achieve better health and well being. She has successfully assisted clients with many challenging conditions such as repetitive strain injuries (i.e.tennis and golfer’s elbow), fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ dysfunction, sprains and strains, frozen shoulder, postural imbalances, whiplash, headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, muscle tension, anxiety and insomnia, and neurological conditions.

Christine will work with you towards identifying the causal factors impacting your well being while creating specific programs and treatment approaches designed for your individual needs. Because Christine believes in proactive health care, she will often provide self-care tips and home exercises while her sensitive approach allows for the most effective treatment whether that is a soft hand or a deep tissue approach.

Christine believes massage stimulates healing by providing relaxation, increased energy flow and balance through the power of touch. She takes a holistic approach to your health combining the science and the art of massage, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
